Receive nationally recognised trade training
Join the ADF and learn a trade. You&rsquo;ll receive all the training you need, be paid while you train and can earn industry-recognised qualifications. 
Who it&rsquo;s for:&nbsp;Those seeking nationally recognised trade training to undertake hands-on tasks.

You'll be paid to train and on completion of your Initial Military Training and Initial Employment Training, you’ll earn a tax-free daily rate of at least:

The pay you receive in the Army Reserve goes straight into your pocket with no deductions for tax.

As a part-time Medic already registered as a Nurse or Paramedic through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), you could find yourself as the first responder for medical emergencies or delivering ongoing care.
You’ll work with front line units, in training establishments, hospitals and deployed medical facilities to support soldiers, as well as civilians, in all kinds of situations.
If you’re looking to experience adventure and excitement outside the everyday, earn tax-free pay and work as part of a close-knit team, this is an exciting opportunity that can work around your lifestyle.

You’ll use emergency vehicles including purpose-built light and armoured ambulances, helicopters and boats to provide every aspect of healthcare to support and maintain the health and well-being of Army personnel.
You’ll work as part of a highly multidisciplinary team who are often called upon to work in a variety of operational and non-operational conditions in barracks and in combat environments.
